The Wushu event Under-19 (Boys/Girls) as part of the 65th National School Games being organized by the Punjab School Education Department was today at the Guru Nanak Stadium Ludhiana.
Disclosing this here today, An official spokesman said that the Chairman Punjab Youth Development Board,
Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Bindra was present as the Chief Guest. He was welcomed by the District Education Officer (Secondary) and after introduction to the players, he was apprised about the sport of Wushu.
Encouraging the players to put their best effort, Mr. Bindra said that the Punjab Government is fully committed to provide the best of facilities and training to the players of the state for excelling at the National and International level and it is the dream of the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to see Punjab free from the shackles of drugs and reclaiming it's position as the leading state in the sporting arena.
Mr. Bindra further added that he is making every effort to create maximum resources for the promotion of the sporting culture amongst the youth of Punjab.
